In honor of Mother’s Day 2023, I was given an opportunity to display my artwork at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. It is an honor to show that Black birth can be loving, supported, and empowering.

Aila Birth Village embodies three E’s in its care model: empathetic, empowering, and evidence-based support. As a Boston birth doula and postpartum doula and childbirth educator, I work compassionately alongside you during your pregnancy, birth, and postpartum period.

I recognize that this is an intimate time for you and your family. My desire is supplement the care provided to you by your birth team with unconditional and unbiased care that is about you and your needs. I aim to delicately balance your emotional and physical needs when you bring me onto your birth team, no matter the setting. It is an honor to join you during this momentous time and I aspire to provide specialized advocacy and care that places you at the forefront. My services are comprehensive and include antepartum support, childbirth education, birth doula support, postpartum support, breastfeeding education, infant sleep consultations, and even a special Back to Work planning program.
